Magic

After several years of studying, performing, and thinking about magic in our digital age, I contacted a production company about teaching some of my magic on the internet. They loved my ideas, and I shot/edited a video, which they sell very successfully online and on DVD. That one is called Mercury, and it’s aimed at beginners in magic.I spent the next few years developing a move in coin magic called the “Muscle Pass.” The move itself has been around for decades, but I was able to present a comprehensive tutorial on the extremely difficult technique, accompanied by many new tricks and ideas that employ it in interesting ways.

I decided to completely self-publish The Complete Muscle Pass DVD, which was about a hundred times more difficult and frustrating than I ever imagined, but I did manage it in the end! It sells online and in magic shops in 16 different countries. I’m not sure that I would self-publish a second time, but I am glad that I decided to go that route, because I learned a huge amount about the publishing world in the process.

I, sadly, have not been performing much in the last few years. School, film, photography, and my other hobbies have swallowed up all of my spare time, but I hope to return to my magical endeavors someday.
